February 2023 Shop Steward Training Session (Assembly)

Shop Steward Assembly Meetings are open to all Active Members of CSU 52. Meeting topics are educational based, relating to union and labour relations matters. Meetings are intended to be interactive where possible, and will foster relationship building between Shop Stewards.

February's session will be on Bargaining as Member Engagement. Bargaining provides an excellent opportunity for Shop Stewards to engage with other members at their workplace. We will have a facilitated discussion on misconceptions around bargaining and how to build an engagement plan to lead members forward.

Assistant Chief Shop Steward Vacancy

We will be nominating and electing an Assistant Chief Shop Steward at this session. Nominated candidates will be given a couple minutes to explain who they are and why they would like the role.
