General Membership Meetings

Usually a 5:30 p.m. start time - subject to change.

• 2nd Tuesday of every January
• 1st Tuesday of every April, June, October, and December

General Membership Meetings are open to all CSU 52 members. They provide an opportunity for CSU 52 to update members on the business of the Union and its bargaining units, as well as any special initiatives that are underway. It is also an opportunity for Active Members to bring questions and concerns to the floor. Meetings are generally 90 minutes in duration, dependent upon content and member involvement.

Shop Steward Training Sessions

(Assembly Meetings)

Usually a 5:30 p.m. start time - subject to change.

• 3rd Tuesday of every February, March, May, September, and November

Shop Steward Assembly Meetings are open to all Active Members of CSU 52 (non Shop Stewards must request permission from the Presiding Officer and/or Chief Shop Steward). Meeting topics are educational based, relating to union and labour relations matters. Meetings are intended to be interactive where possible, and will foster relationship building between Shop Stewards.

Board of Directors Meetings

Usually an 8:30 a.m. start time - subject to change.

• 1st Tuesday of every January (if January 1st is a Tuesday, the Board Meeting is postponed to a later day the same week)
• 2nd Tuesday of each month thereafter

Board of Directors Meetings are open to Active Members to view, subject to confidential matters. Meetings are generally 3-4 hours in duration, and are subject to earlier start times. If you wish to attend a Board Directors Meeting, please contact the CSU 52 Office.
